Human Animal Exchange develops and presents new work through collaborative practice. Our focus is on creating work that explores the relationship and struggle between our human and animal instincts and with our place in and exchange with the natural world. We are currently experimenting with storytelling; harnessing the age-old form of the fireside tale, and pushing the envelope to extend it into a new theatrical mode. We are captivated by the power of good stories and by how we are shaped by the stories we inherit, and in turn how we reshape them through our conscious and unconscious actions.
